Mubasher: Commercial Facilities achieved a growth of 43.7% in profits during the second quarter of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.

Earnings increased to KWD 2.17 million ($7.17 million) in Q2-17 from KWD 1.51 million ($4.99 million) in Q2-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Tuesday.

During the first six months, the company posted a growth of 39.6% in profits to 4.36 million from KWD 3.13 million in H1-16.

The increase in H1 profits is attributed to higher yield from investments, the company noted.

In the first quarter of 2017, profits soared 35.2% to KWD 2.19 million from KWD 1.62 million in Q1-16.
